    We ship the onboard unit — the device that runs DIDI Chart on board — with an installation guide. You install it, or book on-site installation at extra cost.

    Together

    Activation should follow within four weeks of shipping. The 30 trial days only start then.

During the trial

Duration
30 days from activation. Activation should take place no later than four weeks after shipping.
Cost
The trial service is free of charge from our side. We cover standard shipping within Europe and the Schengen area.
Installation & extras
The installation guide is free. On-site installation can be booked at extra cost; special shipping carries a cost contribution.

After the trial

Decide actively
Ending the trial is something you have to tell us. Please let us know before the 30 days run out if you do not want to continue.
If you continue
You buy or rent the onboard unit and carry on with DIDI Chart on a subscription.
If you end the trial
You remove the unit and send it back with our return label. Removal on site can be booked at extra cost.

Using a different chart agent?

No problem. Tell us who supplies your chart permits — the unlock codes for your digital charts — and how they reach you. We set up the handover, usually automatically by email or through a technical interface. A manual upload is possible if needed.

Good to know

The onboard unit remains the property of Decorum Maritime until you buy it. Until then, damage caused on board, for example through mishandling, is yours to cover; faults in the unit itself are ours. Decorum is responsible for the function of its own software, not for external systems such as your chart provider, the ship’s network or the ECDIS. The contract terms prevail.
